Cranraspberry Smoothie

Today is absolutely beautiful here, it is singlet weather which is great and the kids are happily playing in the gorgeous sunshine.
I thought I’d make them a healthy treat, which is also a great after school snack for littlies.

Cranraspberry Smoothie

ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup vanilla yoghurt
  • 1 cup cranberry juice

method

  • blend all ingredients together and serve, easy as that

you can add some honey or maple syrup to sweeten it up a little, I didn’t and the kids loved it. it makes enough for one adult and two littlies.

enjoy the day whatever the weather is ♥

  • Hmmmm, me likey!

  • Almost every time I come and visit, I leave as hungry as a horse or desperately craving sweet treats. Why don't you do something with cauliflower? I'd be pretty safe with that.

  • Oh Cathie, how beautiful are those little lips! Your girl made me go "ohhhhhh".

  • Yum, sunny day, lovely berries in a smoothie! Yummy, on my shopping list.

  • Delish! I love a good smoothie.

  • hello… hapi blogging… have a nice day! just visiting here….

  • I wish I was a child… Tomorrow I'll be 35… can I have the smoothie?

  • What? That looks perfect, need to put the cranberry juice on the shopping list for the warmer weather later in the week. Delicious!

  • From age 7 on, I lived primarily with my Dad (whose fantastic by the way, but I digress) and smoothies were his breakfast staple for my sister and I (dare I include that he sometimes threw a raw egg in the mix?). All grown up now, I still enjoy them (raw egg free though) but haven't ever tried cranberry juice as an addition! I'll have to get right on that…
