My Creative Space…

After some great advice, I am determined to get this done in time for Mother’s Day as a gift to my mum.

It’s a drawing by my 4 yr old which I hope to embroider and frame…fingers crossed I finish by Sunday.

I wonder what everyone who isn’t at the Stitches & Craft Show is up to, let’s pop round to Kirsty’s and see.

  • You should be able to get it finished as long as you stick to easy quick stitches, lick back stitch. I found with mine, that I loved doing it so much that it got finished quite quick! It is just the very generous kid hair that can take a while

And I love your new frame and your creative space! Looks like you had a fun weekend, did you get the car all unpacked?

I am still looking for that sweet little heart shaped cutter. Apparently stores here in the good old USA are seriously lacking in their baking sections!

  • Children make the most beautiful and heartfelt art of all. xx

  • Lovely! Childrens drawings are always so beautiful and imaginative, great idea to stitch! Hope you get it finished in time.
Regarding html….I basically play around until something works!! I have no clue!! Although when I got rid of the third column, for some reason the writing was enormous – I have no idea why. So I kept the third column and increased the size of the main wrapper…As for images I just clicked on xlarge button in post…Hope that helps…prob not…even I don't understand what I've written!!! x

  • Perfection. You just can't lose! Now turning to look meaningfully at the Mr to see if he's up for stitching some Mothers Day kid art…
