I must confess, I am such an emotional mum, I cry at times, I hug waaaay too much, there is not one single night that I don’t tuck them in when they are asleep and whisper that I love them.
They don’t ever realise I do that, but I know I do.
Every time something new happens, I just want to freeze that moment and treasure it forever
I want to hold on to these two little beings for as long as possible
Their funny little quirks and the stories they tell are what makes me smile, every single day.
Oh no, there are bad days, days when things are just too difficult to deal with but I don’t mind, I take the good and the bad and appreciate my glass as being half full.
So, for now, I am capturing these baby teeth because someday soon, they’ll be all gone.
Two down, many more to go.
I made this brooch for me using Jodie’s fab tutorial but I think it suits Amelie so much better.
You should make one, it’s so easy, all you need are fabric scraps and it will make you smile.
What are you creating today? I’d love to see!
See you soon friends ♥
Yay, it’s Friday! That’s good because it’s a long weekend here in Australia. That means everyone is home on Monday, I love that.
I just wanted to share some of my favourite moments this week
baking these moon cookies (as Aidan calls them)
It has been a difficult week for me personally and I have struggled with every single day, smiling on the outside yet feeling breathless on the inside as the tears and sleepless nights seem to never end.
It has been nine months and even though you hear that it gets easier as time goes on…well it hasn’t and my heart still hurts and I wish I could make it better.
We are having a cuppa to show support today and I hope I can get through it without too many tears.
On the upside, I have been making some brooches using Kylie’s fabulous tutorial as a guide and I want to make you one, or maybe two as a way to say thanks and to make you smile.
So just leave me a hello here wherever you are, I’ll leave it open for a week or so and pick a name out of the virtual mixing bowl.
After that, why don’t you pop round to Kirsty’s and check out some wonderfully creative girls.
This beautifully made brooch by the ever so talented and beautiful Ms Curlypops, came to add a bit of colour to my ever so monochromatic wardrobe.
It is a perfect size for me, it looks very delicate yet definitely very well made and the colour and design are simply gorgeous.
So thank you Ms C once again, for your wonderful generosity and beautiful creations.
Pop by her place for a visit, you’ll definitely want to stay.
