It’s been a while since I posted, it wasn’t meant to be so long but life just got in the way.
We all got sick, school holidays came round and really, blogging wasn’t all that important.
Thank you for your sweet emails asking if I am ok…I am, thank you!
I have made these jam scrolls three times so far and every time they disappear before I can even get the camera out.
You can use the base recipe and then add whatever filling you like in the middle, so far I have used blackberry jam, strawberry jam and these ones were filled with breakfast marmalade.
is the last week before school holidays so I am making some chicken egg cozies for a few of Amelie’s school friends
this week there’s an Easter bonnet parade at Amelie’s school and we have to decorate her hat, she wants to win…(I’m nervous)
and this week the girls need some more food as the bag “accidentally” spilt in the garage (hmmm…thank you Aidan)
What are you up to this week, want to play along?
I enjoyed a few hours of being a woman, not just a mum, not just a partner, but a woman.
The henna tattoo on my hand was a creation by a talented woman from India
the fabric covered canvas I made so I can store my beautiful brooches created by lots of other wonderfully creative and talented women
the lovely family portrait by the little guy framed and admired
the magic of liquid chalk for drawing on the window and practising our school words
and of course, the gorgeous girls in the background creating what they do best… a bit of a mess.
Hope you have had a day full of creativity and enjoyed being a woman ♥
the garden, the sunshine and the rain which produce wonderful veggies right at our back door
chickens and wonderful eggs
and kids that love being outside in the garden
