Serves: 6-8 serves
Ingredients
- 1 quantity
- sweet pastry
- (about 26 cm tart tin)
- FILLING
- 50 g butter
- 50 g caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 150 g flaked almonds
- 2 tbs milk
- about 1 or 1¼ cup marmalade
Method
- make pastry dough as per recipe, blind bake
- preheat oven to 180 C
- place butter, sugar, vanilla, almonds and milk in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until butter has melted, allow to cool
- spread marmalade in a prepared tart shell, pour over topping
- bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden
- serve warm with some vanilla ice cream
sweet pastry
I used mandarin marmalade, you can use whatever flavour you like, easy peasy!
